Founder of ‘Rajiben - Crafting a Better Planet' for her exemplary contribution towards sustainable entrepreneurship and for encouraging women in her village to join the mission of plastic up-cycling.

The award was presented by the renowned actress and environmentalist Ms. Dia Mirza and Dr. Ashok Khosla – Chairman of Development Alternatives, as the esteemed Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively.

Swadheen – ( Khadi) Exhibition held to commemorate the 30^th year of IMC Jankidevi Bajaj Puraskar for the Rural Entrepreneur.

It was a curated gathering of supporters of Khadi, showcasing their loyalty to the Fabric of Freedom. The Exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Pheroza J. Godrej, Chairperson, Godrej Archives council.

The Puraskar was conferred on Ms. Manisha Ghule, Executive Director, Navchetana Sarvangin Vikas Kendra, Kaij, Beed, Maharashtra.

For opening new jobs and career pathways that enable the most invisible and excluded rural women to earn with dignity while transforming their regions' agriculture economy and social structures. Across villages affected by global climate change, migration, declining agriculture, and joblessness, Manisha is shaping a new and sustainable employment model for rural women – one that establishes them as leaders of economic progress and social equity.

The award was presented by Ms. Falguni Nayar – Founder and CEO of Nykaa who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
